Last night my business partner and I went to our first Lady Rogue Business Networking function. It's basically a network of people that either own their own business or are thinking of starting a small business. There are monthly meetings and online chatting to foster creativity and create community amongst those that have taken the plunge into the small business world.
The meeting was held at Urban Cottage (One of my favorite boutiques in the Highlands) and it lasted for almost 3 hours. It was a great networking experience that was laid back and not too intimidating. Everyone was so friendly and encouraging. We might have even gotten a few potential clients! Hopefully next month's meet up will be just as fruitful.
