Old Wood Cabinets.

We have some of the most wonderful old wood cabinets right now.
This one is a great size for so many spaces. It has two doors, a couple shelves and gives really wonderful storage. We have displayed some of our favorite Vintage Belgium Pottery inside of it.

The cabinet has been distressed with a touch of white and green, creating a fun one-of-a-kind piece. You should definitely come by to see all of our new cabinets! They are a super pricepoint and can help you finish off your home just in time for the holiday season!

A Little Different.

One of the most fun things we get to do a Urban Cottage, Inc. is come up with things that are just a little different. We are constantly twisting the usual purpose of something in to something else!

Since we manufacture a great deal of our wooden furniture ourselves, we can do so many things. We can create a piece for you from a photo, a sketch or just an idea. We can help you turn your idea into exactly what you are wanting.

We wanted to have something a little different for a coffee table with our new fun sofa! So, we took two of the long barnwood benches we make and stuck them side by side. Not only do you now have the perfect size coffee table, you also have additional seating when you want it. Just seperate the benches and move them where you want. It's a fun idea and not something you see in every home.

For years and years, we would hold our annual sale at our warehouse. It was a three day sale on all in stock furniture. We changed the 'rules' a bit the past few years and this year we decided to make it something easy for all customers not to miss!

Vintage Find.

We are seriously in Vintage Love. This cabinet is so special. It is truly a one-of-a-kind find.
It is in the shop right now but trust us, if we had the space for it it would be in one of our homes!
We hope it finds a perfect new home and will be loved as much (or more if possible) then we do.

This Vintage cabniet has all its original pieces. There are these great little shelves and cubbies. We think it could make an absolutely fantastic bar. Cool idea, right?!

Custom Buffet Cabinet

Lovely knobs chosen

A very large part of our business over the past fifteen years has been our custom furniture. Since we have quite a lot of our wooden furniture pieces manufactured ourselves, we can do pretty much anything you can think of. We can do custom sizes, colors, designs... you name it and we will help you get it made.

Just this past week, we delivered this absolutely fantastic custom buffet delivered. The customer was thrilled with how it turned out! We helped design it and created it exactly to the desired specifications.
We even searched for the special knobs and color finish they wanted. It really turned out so lovely. It is perfect and happy in its new home!

Fresh Arrivals

Today was a really fun day! We got in a truckload of really fantastic furniture. Some of the fresh arrivals are Vintage pieces that we purchased and had restored and others just really great reproduction pieces. The shop is jam packed with awesome new furniture!
This photo is a awesomely rustic bench we had made out of our old barnwood right here in our Atlanta warehouse. All of these pieces can be ordered at the shop in any dimensions and colors.

Funky

I know I have brought up these funky swirled rattan chairs before. But you have to see how fun they look in this great Atlanta home! They are in the sitting area of a master suite. They are placed with traditional furniture surrounding them! So fun and funky!

Garden Style Side Table

Sometimes bringing the outside in, really works in a room! These garden style ceramic side tables are a perfect example. You can not only use them on a porch or garden room, you can also use them as a side table in a living room or even a bedroom. They add a little flair that is really different. It also adds some originality to a room and great natural toned colors!

Classic With A Twist

Classic style is timeless and will always be enjoyed. I love classic style with a twist! A perfect example of this would be the set of Louis Arm Chairs we have in the shop. We have a traditional set in a really great french gray with a white cotton linen fabric. They are great looking. We also have a set in a true red finish, which is bright and wonderfully loud. The fabric we have on them is a simple white canvas. These are so fun and add a little twist to a very classic chair. They really would add a great pop of color and a pop of style. They are available in any of our color finishes as well!

Totally Fantastic Hutch

We just got in a totally fantastic hutch that is a natural pine finish. It is in two pieces which makes it super easy to move. I really have fallen in love with this one. I love the versatility of it. This hutch can lend itself to so many different types of styles. It can fit in a very rustic environment as well as a classic style or even a modern atmosphere. Besides the style being really great, the storage capacity is just as wonderful. The top portion has glass panels on the doors allowing it to be used for display and the bottom doors have wood panels allowing for your things to be hidden as well. You just have to see it in person. The value of this piece is unbelievable especially for all it offers. Don't forget, we can also alter the size and order it in any of our Surroundings, Inc. color finishes. 

Cool & Calm

During the Summer months, it is so hot! Using light colors to create a cool feeling are always a good idea. It makes your home feel cool and calm. All of our pieces come in white antique and whitewash. I think a large piece in a white can really do the trick. We have a great display cabinet that can also be used as a bookcase or even an armoire. It has a great amount of storage between its doors and drawers.

Perfect Wall Cabinet

Many Bathrooms are lacking storage. The best solution, if you can not fit a cabinet is to hang a wall cabinet. We have some really cute ones that allow you to house a decent amount of things. One that we have has doors and one is open. Plus, they are really cute!

Looking Perfect!

One of my favorite people, Carla Kaiser (Concrete Lace) just had the Kid's Bed / Settee delivered to her house today from the shop. She had to have it! I fell in love with this piece and am so glad it has a happy home. Now, I can see it whenever I visit her! She put Coleccion Luna Pillows on it which make it so cozy! And, I love how it has one of her colorful paintings to the right on the wall. This is such a happy room. 

Backless Benches

Benches that have no backs have so many different uses! You can use it right at the foot of a bed, use it against a wall and through some fun pillows on the back and make it a cozy place to sit, you can use it at a dining table for seating and you can even use it as a coffee table. Th great thing about having one, is you can always find a home for one!

Bar Stools

I can not even tell you how many times customers tell us that finding good bar stools and bar chairs is one of the most difficult tasks. I had no idea until I tried to help a design client find some that would be perfect in her kitchen. It is extremely difficult. You can find cheesy boring ones and very expensive ones quite easily. We carry a few different Surroundings, Inc. styles. And as always, can custom make them as well. We have counter height and bar height bar stools and bar chairs. They are also in a very reasonable price range.

Antique Coffee Table

Sometimes you get lucky and find an incredible antique! This coffee table is so fantastic. It is 68" long and in the right space would look really great. The best part about it is that the wood is teak and it is so durable. Perfect for a family room that will be used a lot. I wish I had a large enough space to take it home with me! 

Happy Kitchens

I know I have mentioned before, that I love kitchen stuff! Especially if it is pink! Well, we try to have lots of fun accessories at the shop to help make your kitchen a happy one! We have depression glass plates and bowls, ceramic mugs, colorful espresso cups and a lot more! You can also see our fantastic kitchen tables, chairs, islands and hutches!
