A few months ago I bought a friend the best card. Since then, I have not been able to stop thinking about how great that card was. Totally perfect in every way. Since then, I have kept thinking about it and have been researching to find out who made it and how I can offer these perfect cards at Urban Cottage. Well, finally I was able to find the artist and her company. They are Amy Smyth Cards. And finally, they can be found out the shop! The cards are absolutely hilarious and adorable. Lindsey Kerr of Linvites makes the cutest enclosure cards! You can always find them right at our desk. They are the perfect pick up to add to any gift you are getting. We have a great selection for occasions such as birthday, engagement party, bridal shower, baby shower, house warming and many more. She is a lovely local Atlanta Favorite of Urban Cottage!

I know I have mentioned before that I love cards. I love giving them, getting them and selling them so people can give them and get them too! We have some really great card lines. But, the ones I can not stay away from are made by a local Atlanta company, which makes me love them even more, is Whimsy Press. Some of them are absolutely hilarious. One of the card racks in the shop is completely devoted to these cards. People come in all the time just to get them. And sometimes, people just go through them all and laugh. You can't help but laugh, because some are just too funny! Even if you don't need a card for someone, they make you want to find someone to send them to! Once you get to know these cards, you can not help but become a Whimsy Fan!

Cards Make You Feel Good

Sending cards to my friends and family is something I have always been good about. I like to send a card just because. It is one of the most refreshing and feel good things, to open your mailbox and see something addressed to you that is not junk mail and even worse, bills. A card sitting waiting to be opened from a good friend makes my whole day. I love the way it feels and really try to do this for the people I care about. I always wanted to carry cards at the shop. We started with just a few cards and have expanded our variety. I guess because I love looking at cards (and even love to make them in my spare time) I have gotten good at finding ones that people fall in love with. Not a day goes by without someone telling us they love the cards we have! I love that! Right now, so many people are going through tough times and a card might just brighten their day!
