We really love to offer handmade and repurposed items.
We have been carrying this wonderful Local Atlanta made line, Songbird & Twig, for quite a while. And, everyone just loves the repurposed bottle servers they make and we carry! They are all one-of-a-kind in their own way and they come with a small spreader. What could be a better gift?!

Quaint Home: Handmade in Atlanta, GA

Another great Local Atlanta handmade and repurposed item we have are Quaint Home's lovely candles that are handpoured in glass bottles ranging from a beer bottle, wine bottle to a really great bottle of whiskey. We have a couple sizes and scents to choose from. They are also such an amazing gift idea that you can grab from $5 - $15. Seriously?! These are so great to grab and take for a quick gift but also wonderful to use in your own home for a relaxing evening.

A Little Different.

One of the most fun things we get to do a Urban Cottage, Inc. is come up with things that are just a little different. We are constantly twisting the usual purpose of something in to something else!

Since we manufacture a great deal of our wooden furniture ourselves, we can do so many things. We can create a piece for you from a photo, a sketch or just an idea. We can help you turn your idea into exactly what you are wanting.

We wanted to have something a little different for a coffee table with our new fun sofa! So, we took two of the long barnwood benches we make and stuck them side by side. Not only do you now have the perfect size coffee table, you also have additional seating when you want it. Just seperate the benches and move them where you want. It's a fun idea and not something you see in every home.

For years and years, we would hold our annual sale at our warehouse. It was a three day sale on all in stock furniture. We changed the 'rules' a bit the past few years and this year we decided to make it something easy for all customers not to miss!

We launched the annual sale last weekend with a great big trunk show tent sale. We had some really wonderful local Atlanta artists that we carry at the shop with us for the weekend selling their wares at great prices! Dress Up Your Walls.

One of the best parts of making your house your home is dressing up your walls. What you put on your walls is an expression of who you are. We really love seeking out fabulous pieces to offer in the shop for your walls. We have such a limited amount of wall space, but always try to make the pieces we offer super special!

This week, we just added some really wonderful new art by a Local Georgia Artist. She is from North of the city of Atlanta and is a self taught painter. Her name is Brooke Lowe and she is a young woman creating some really great pieces that you can now purchase at Urban Cottage, Inc. to dress up your walls! Her pieces are painted on wood and really make a statement. Come on by and check out our walls.
