At the beginning of the Holiday Season, we all kept talking about our favorite gift giving goods. So, we thought it would be fun to share all of our Top Ten Holiday Picks with you. Hope its been a fun treat!

Jessica found this line and had to bring it in. These Blessing Beads are a wonderfully special handmade gift. And, they are made in Atlanta too!

These Charleston SC made candles are another of Jessica Fave finds & thinks they are one of the best go to gifts Her favorite seasonal scent was the Fig!

For any little one, our assortment of blankets is awesome. Jessica is in love with this fun cozy one. It makes a perfect gift for a little loves!

We had these lovely handmade driftwood angel ornaments. They were only $14 and made a perfect little gift for a friend, ornament party, teacher & just for your own tree!

The glass pitchers make a great gift for someone to use for serving or as a vase!

Our beautiful nighties make a special gift for all the ladies on your list.

Our soap bars by Barr & Co. make a great stocking stuffer or hostess gift. Jessica also loves the liquid hand soap in the glass bottles, you can pair them for a really lovely gift!

And lastly, the ceramic vases are such a fun little gift. We have a bunch of colors.

It has been really fun doing all of our Top Ten Holiday Gift Picks this year! We have such a great assortment throughout the shop that some of our picks are totally different and some overlap.

Meggie O'Connor has been part of our team for a few years now and we just enjoy the heck out of her! She has become part of our family. She is great at helping find the most perfect gift for anyone on your list and get it all wrapped up beautifully!

The Urban Cottage, Inc. Team is so excited about our gift selection this year! All of us have our own Top Picks of this season and we thought we would share them with you.

First up, is Co-Owner of the mother daughter team, Gail Silverstein. She has carefully selected her Top Ten Holiday picks of this Holiday Season, take a look!

Gail LOVES a good cookbook and thinks this one is a perfect gift for anyone who likes to be in the kitchen.

 

These handmade frames come in many sizes and colors. They are a fave of all of ours! Steve Silverstein makes them, the husband and father of the owners & they have fallen in love with these. They are for sure an Urban Cottage staple and make a really great gift for anyone!

Gail is loving the beautiful faceted glass jar candles that are new this year. Her fave scent is pomegrante citrus and it is burning all the time in the shop!

The Locally made, blessing beads are one of her favorite gift items this year. They are special and beautiful.

These alpaca wool scarves are really unique and we can not keep them in! We have had to reorder them a bunch already this season to have them for you! Gail found these and thought that they were a great gift and boy, was she right!

The hand pressed glass pitcher made by Juliska is a great classic gift! Gail always thinks these make a great gift but a really special holiday gift!

We are packed with awesome throws this season. Gail is loving this white cozy throw. It is handknit and perfect for any one on your list!

The felted foxy fellow ornaments are a love of Gail's! We try to get them every year!

The San Francisco made perfume, Vetiver, is a perfect gift for a woman of any age!

Our pewter spoons are always a great go to gift idea. Gail is a tea person and just adores the tea spoons. We do also have a coffee scoop for the coffee lovers!

Holiday Events: First Up... Booksigning with Local Atlanta Lovely Lady, Annette Joseph!

We have a packed next few weeks full of amazing events for the holiday season! We are really excited about them and all the absolutely fantastic goods we have for you this year.

Our first event of the season is with Annette Joseph, a Local Atlanta (lovely and very talented) lady. She, amongst many other things, has published a wonderful book: "Picture Perfect Parties" which we always have for you to pick up. But, what's better then a signed copy of it?! Nothing!
You can come by, meet her, get some great party tips to help get your parties to be spectacular and grab a few copies for gift giving.

And, we will have yummy treats and specials on everything to help with your party throwing. Your table scape will be out of this world!

Augusta Wilson's work (a fantastic Local Atlanta Artist) is proudly hanging throughout our shop. It is so reasonably priced!

Augusta Hyland Wilson is a formally trained fine artist with a BFA in Painting from the University of Georgia and a MFA in Painting from Savannah College of Art and Design. 
In previous iterations of her so-called career, Wilson spent a Summer painting in the hills of Cortona, Italy, created a master's thesis examining the mores of Southern culture, planned weddings and social events for fellow Atlantans, and worked in one of the United States' largest sterling silver shops. She likes her current gig---where she creates paintings inspired by all of these aspects of her life---the best.
Wilson is the sole proprietor of Augusta Wilson Studio. She lives in Decatur, Georgia with her husband and baby son.
